Living in Paris

Life in Paris

Living in Paris offers an incredibly cosmopolitan lifestyle. The French capital is France’s most populous city and one of the world’s most popular tourist destinations. As a global centre for art, fashion, gastronomy and culture, a growing number of international residents are moving to Paris.  Beyond such landmarks as the Eiffel Tower and the Gothic Notre-Dame Cathedral, the city is known for its café culture and designer boutiques.

Expats in Paris

The French capital has become home to numerous expats – many of them native English speakers from Britain, Ireland, Australia or the United States. While many international families living in Paris choose to live in the city centre, in recent years, there has been steady growth in the suburbs, which are well connected to the city.

Finding The Right School When Moving to Paris

For expat families living in Paris, local state schools have a good reputation and there are excellent international schools teaching in a broad range of languages from English and German to Japanese and Swedish.
