Nestled in south western France, close to the Spanish border, Toulouse is bisected by the Garonne River. As the fourth biggest city in France (after Paris, Lyon, and Marseille) there are is a growing community of expats in Toulouse. Known as La Ville Rose (the Pink City) due to the terra-cotta bricks used in many of its buildings, Toulouse is the home of plane manufacturer Airbus (one of the biggest employers of international residents living in Toulouse) and has a big international student population.
