Mum & Baby Groups, Activities & Services in Rome

The Italian capital is the largest city in the country, so you’ll find many services providing mum & baby groups in Rome. There are lots of great ways to meet fellow parents and expectant parents in Rome, with many non-profit associations and small businesses catering for mothers and babies.

 

A growing number of cafes (known as Mammacaffe) provide a space for spontaneous mum & baby groups throughout the city, and are ideal for new mums to socialise while their babies and toddlers play. There are English-speaking playgroups for babies and toddlers in different locations across the city, often run by volunteers within the community. There are also plenty of play centres and dedicated cinema screenings for mums to attend with their babies.

 

There are also fantastic classes and workshops for new parents on all different subjects, including internationally recognised first aid training.The city has an eclectic mix of small local boutiques and national brands selling maternity clothes, equipment and all things pregnancy, baby and toddler related. There are several local and international agencies offering bespoke childcare services in Rome, providing English speaking and multilingual babysitters and childminders for the Italian capital’s diverse expat community.
