Being such an international island, with a large number of tourists throughout the high season, Ibiza has excellent English-speaking medical facilities, with English-speaking doctors or translation services available at all private and most public facilities.
C’an Misses is the largest and only state hospital on the island, on the outskirts of Ibiza town, with further emergency services, or Urgencias located near San Antonio and several highly-regarded private hospitals on the island also. There are smaller maternity clinics and family doctors located in most towns.
There is a tight-knit local community of international residents based on the island year-round, with several fantastic clubs, meet-ups, events and playgroups for mums to make friends and socialise with like-minded people living on the white isle.
