Pregnant expat mums living in Jávea have excellent access to a variety of maternity services in the Costa Blanca. Pregnancy services in Jávea are available at numerous maternity hospitals, family medical centres and maternity clinics and there are many English speaking doctors and gynaecologists specialising in obstetrics and gynaecology in the Costa Blanca.

 

There are English speaking pre-natal classes available in Jávea, offering support with feeding, bathing and adapting to life with a new baby. There are also highly-recommended antenatal classes in Denia, helping expectant mothers prepare for birth in a holistic way, to feel physically and mentally prepared in order to have the most positive birth possible.

 

Local swimming pools in La Nucia and El Verger offer sessions especially for pregnant women and classes for parents and their newborns. There are also numerous yoga studios offering pregnancy yoga and mother and baby sessions in Jávea and the surrounding areas.
