Costa de la Luz

Expectant mothers pregnant in Cadiz and the surrounding area have access to a wealth of maternity facilities and birth services in Costa de la Luz.

 

There are two large university hospitals in Cadiz, and general hospitals in Huelva, Ayamonte and Tarifa, among other maternity clinics and general practitioners based throughout the region.

 

Pregnancy services in Costa de la Luz include experienced multilingual private midwives, offering support through pregnancy then available to attend births at home and hospital births. There is also an excellent gynaecology clinic around an hour’s drive inland, in Seville, specialising in personalised women’s healthcare before and during pregnancy, and a variety of fertility treatments.
