Musée Fabre in Montpellier is the most important art museum in the Languedoc. An association was formed to encourage and help people to engage with Montpellier’s Musée Fabre. They’ve devised three booklets for children to make their museum visit more fun and hold various events for kids and their families. You can find the association Les Amis de Musée Fabre in the gallery’s entrance hall on the first Sunday of the month. There are many ways to appreciate the full wealth of the Musée Fabre’s collections and exhibitions using guidebooks, visit kits, workshops, guided visits for the very young or family trails. Even the youngest children are welcome, with dedicated and specially adapted events for them. Pushchairs are allowed in the exhibition spaces and the Musée Fabre is equipped with baby changing facilities at different points throughout the museum. There are suggested ages given for each guided visit.
