Richard Sève is considered one of the best chocolate makers in France. The Musée Sève is set within the 1500m2 factory space, with windows overlooking engines in motion, chocolate blenders and cacao crushers. The museum depicts the history of cocoa culture, beginning with the ways the Mayas and Aztecs ate and used cocoa during important rituals and occasions. Visitors learn about the process of chocolate making from bean to bar and there are plenty of tastings and workshops taking place at the factory.
