The Museo del Arte de Reina Sofia is one of the largest contemporary art museums in the world today. Home to the works of many very famous national and international artists including Picasso and Dali, it also hosts very interesting temporary exhibitions by contemporary artists. Child friendly workshops and tours available and the exterior glass lifts are fun too.

Has a special program for kids on Saturdays, which is pretty cool. Went with my 5 year old who was a little young, but it is definitely worth signing up for and we would do it again in a year’s time. (Anne Lennon)
