The Railway Museum is a favourite with children of all ages. Located just south of Atocha in the barrio of Delicias, this trainspotters delight was built in 1880 by Gustave Eiffel. Not only do you get to climb aboard many of Spain’s older trains, but they also have a fantastic collection of miniature trains to see, and on Saturday mornings they run a number of mini-trains for children to ride on.
