Museum für Naturkunde

January 7, 2018 | Activities, Berlin, Germany

Berlin’s Natural History Museum is located in Mitte and has an extensive collection. The highlight is perhaps the massive Brachiosaurus – supposedly the biggest mounted dinosaur skeleton in the world! But it doesn’t stop there. From birds and butterflies to our solar system and minerals, you’ll either need many hours or more visits! The museum hosts numerous interesting events, so be sure to book your tickets in advance to secure a spot.

Bring a notepad and a pencil and take some quiet time to draw one of the animals. They offer a free audio guide in different languages; the one for children comes in German only. On your way out you’ll head through the museum shop with a wide selection of books, posters and toys. (Ariana Sargent)
