Open daily, The Senckenberg Museum is one of the largest Natural History Museums in Germany. The Museum is particularly popular with children, who enjoy the extensive collection of dinosaur fossils: Senckenberg boasts the largest exhibition of large dinosaurs in Europe. As well as the dinosaur collection, the museum opened two new exhibitions in September 2020; the deep sea and marine research exhibitions. Similarly, Senckenberg researchers look into biodiversity and current environmental topics, and you can find interviews from experts on their website.

My boys just love looking at the dinosaurs – they could both spend hours in here! But they are dinomad! (Jenny Drake)
