Oak House School is a co-ed Primary and Secondary school for children from 3 to 18 years of age. In Primary, the study programme follows the National Education Curriculum for England and Wales. Primary pupils study Spanish and Catalan languages, and Humanities is also given in Spanish. Oak House Secondary school is authorised by the Catalan regional government and pupils are taught in English, Spanish and Catalan. A fourth language (French or German) is also introduced in Secondary. The study programme for Secondary pupils is based on the local Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO) curriculum, as well as a range of subjects through the established British Cambridge Examination Board (IGCSEs). During the final two years of their education, our pupils can either follow the regional Batxillerat courses or the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB), taught in English. Oak House School pupils receive a broad and balanced trilingual education and are thus prepared for further study in any of the three languages.
