Artestruz Mallorca is set within the beautiful Mallorcan countryside near Campos. This family run farm, founded in 1998, is a small piece of Africa in Mallorca and is home to some truly unique birds. There’s plenty to do: guided tours, feeding the birds, ostrich rides and visit the baby ostrich during the summer. Jumbo is a 17 year old male ostrich suitable for riding. The ride includes a funny ostrich T-shirt. Two monitors who are at all times with the jockey. And it lasts for about 15 min. Jumbo is well trained and will gently walk or run. This rides are suitable for children.

Ostriches. They are fascinating! Feeding was fun, but the highlight was having the kids each go for a ride. Our 5 year old jumped on first and was so excited! Then our 7 year old, followed by our 12 year old. They loved it and they love watching the videos of them riding almost as much as doing it. It’s not cheap, but we thought it was well worth it.
