Lots of grassy areas (no dog poo) which were great for my crawler. She also loved all the animals and chickens roaming free in the park. Play ground apparatus for older kids and plenty of ducks to feed. (Mary Roulston)

There are two children’s parks. Including one large one at the top. Younger children will have the time of of their lives, with a choice of slides, jungle gyms and hanging bridges. The pathways are well maintained and easily negotiable with children’s buggies. All in all, it makes a fantastic few hours out for the whole family. And best of all it’s completely free.
