I have had problems with my bladder and womb for years. I have seen different doctors and recently I have been seeing a physiotherapist. At one point the prolapse was so severe, she suggested I go see a specialist for a second opinion, that I would probably need surgical treatment.
I went to see Dr. Melendez and he was great. He examined me and assessed the condition and then he explained everything nicely and in layman terms so I could understand it all. He draw pictures and showed me on the ultrasound. He never push me into anything, Instead he gave me options, always balancing pros and cons. He made me feel I was part of the process and I felt I was in control of the decision making at all times. I was so happy I couldn’t wait to call my physiotherapist to say thank you for referring me to him. (Marta S)
