Playa de la Malvarrosa

The beaches la Malvarrosa and las Arenas border the city beginning at the port. From Puerto de Valencia, la Malvarrosa is the second of the two beaches. This excellent urban beach is located close to the area of Alboraya. It’s a wide and long beach bordered by a promenade and equipped with numerous services. Well connected by public transport. Bus 19 (from city center), 31 and 32. Metro line 5.

The beach goes for miles. Both sea and beach are very clean and even in high season don’t feel cramped at all. There are playgrounds all the way along the promenade and the beach itself. Theres also cycle lanes, beach volleyball, medical points, showers and of course plenty of cafes and restaurants. And if all that is not enough, theres a giant playground at the end of the beach, in the beginning of the marina. (Milena Gresswell)
