The Playmobile FunPark is child-friendly leisure park with themed, toy-inspired zones, playgrounds, quarry and a climbing area. It covers 90,000 square meters and has plenty to stimulate every kid’s senses. Children can make their fantasies a reality in the oversized Playmobile playtime worlds while parents enjoy the relaxing park atmosphere.

It’s Bavarian after all so you should pay homage to it at some point. Two hours drive from Munich it’s a fantastic place for under tens in particular. With all of their favourite Playmobil characters dotted about the park (albeit supersized!), and plenty of themed attractions to enjoy. They will ask to come back again and again. Entrance fees are reasonable, and onsite food is not at all marked up. Also good in wet weather as there’s a huge indoor play area with plenty of things to climb and piles of Playmobil to dive into. Don’t miss the chance to build your own figure whilst you are here, plus there’s a good shop on your way out where you will find plenty of savings. (Emma Coombs)
