The Polyclinique Saint-Roch is one of the most important clinics of the Languedoc region. This medical-surgical and obstetrical establishment, created in 1947, is also the original nucleus of the Oc Santé group. Since February 2016, the Polyclinique Saint Roch has been installed in entirely new buildings, in the Grisettes Quarter in Montpellier. The maternity hospital hosts 3,600 births each year and the hospital teams treat 65,000 patients annually in complete hospitalisation, day hospitalisation or emergencies.

I gave birth by C-section twice at Saint-Roch, as my gyne / obstetician works out of there. Easy to reach by tram (Stade Phillipides). Not so great for parking (although there is a private parking place for those coming in for treatments / having babies). Staff lovely and friendly – you can share a twin room, have a single room or have a room where daddy can stay too (right down to fridge and meals) – rooms have shower and WC as well as bath bath and changing tables.
