The Müller’sche Volksbad’s magnificent art nouveau design makes it one of Europe’s most beautiful swimming pools. This bathing temple on the Isar opened its doors in 1901. Here you can enjoy the swimming pool and sauna all year round or learn to swim, improve your swimming stroke, keep fit with aqua fitness and aqua aerobics. There are swimming classes for beginners to advanced for both children and adults. There are also aqua-natal classes for mums-to-be which provide excellent preparation for giving birth. Similarly, there is a fitness centre in the vicinity, offering classes and individual training programmes.
