How would you describe the lifestyle in Rome for families?

Living in Rome can be both exciting and challenging. Surrounded by history, it is a wonderful place to enjoy culture and good food but the city is also busy with action and tourists which can make it stressful at times. Often families choose to live close to work and school so they don’t need to deal with the daily difficulties of traffic. Luckily, RIS is located in the tranquil national park of Monte Milvio so students and parents can enjoy a nice reprieve away from the busyness of the city. RIS also has a strong Parent-Teacher Association (PTA).

The PTA is an active group of engaged parents and staff working together with students to achieve shared objectives:

  • Build a sense of community and help new families to integrate.
  • Fundraise for charity.
  • Support and help achieve the school’s mission and values.
