Rosario Varelas, Granada

October 22, 2018 | Andalucia, Granada, Spain

Located in the trendy Realejo district, this hip bar gets packed most days and it’s with good reason: the food, drinks and atmosphere here are fantastic. An enormous drinks list ranges from various beers and wines to a huge spirits and cocktails list. Tapas often include sliders and pork buns, though the menu – a mix of tradition and innovation – is also delicious, including homemade breads from €4.50, up to speciality plates of red tuna with Norwegian salmon for €12.50. Open Mon-Thurs 1pm-2am; Fri and Sat 1pm-3am.

A total gem in the Realejo. Though all the tapas here are delicious, if you’re lucky you may even be served the egg roll with truffle dressing. Complimentary food doesn’t get any better than that! Get here early in the evenings, though (especially at weekends) as it can be tricky to get a table here and you don’t want to miss out.
