Speech Language Therapist, Madrid

Jennie Kitaychik is a native English-speaking pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist/Logopeda from the United States based in Madrid. She is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is a licensed Logopeda in Spain and member of the Colegio de Logopedas in Madrid. Her primary goal is to reach English-speaking parents who may have questions or concerns regarding their children’s speech and/or language development.

Jennie’s services include: direct speech and language therapy in English (in-person and remotely), articulation screenings, workshops, parent coaching, teacher trainings, and access to resources and information. Jennie works with various age groups who present with challenges with expressive and receptive language, social and pragmatic language, literacy and writing, fluency, and articulation of speech.

With toddlers (18 months – 3 years of age), Jennie typically works on functional communication development and helping parents create opportunities for their children to communicate during daily routines and play. Therapy at this age is completely play-based.

With preschool students (age 3-5), Jennie commonly works on articulation of sounds and continued language development.

With students age 6 years+, Jennie begins to work with children on literacy development (e.g., reading & spelling), as well as articulation and continued language development.
