The St Louis School in Milan is a private school teaching the English national curriculum for pupils from 2 to 18 years old.
The St Louis School in Milan was founded in 1996. The school bases its curriculum on the English national curriculum but with an option of an Italian stream for children with fluency in Italian.
St Louis prepares students from early years through to primary and secondary before students study for the iGCSE qualifications. During sixth form, students are prepared for the rigorous International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program. St Lous is a top-ranking IB school in continental Europe and boasts the highest-sustained IB Diploma score in continental Europe over the past 6 years. In 2021, pupils scored an average score of 38 out of 45 on the IBDP, well above the global average of 29.9. For Italian-speaking students, a dual-diploma is also offered by the school, allowing them to gain the IBDP and the Italian state school-leavers qualifications.
The school is a member of ECIS, (the European Council of International Schools) and of COBIS (Council of British International Schools). The school has also been granted the official status of Parità (Scuola Primaria) and is the first International school in Italy to achieve Eco school status.
Sports and the arts, community service and adventurous activity (Duke of Edinburgh award) are all central to St Louis School curriculum. The school also has a boarding facility.
