My son attended a casal and he found it fantastic and won’t stop speaking about it. While the casal was conducted in Castellano, it was almost entirely visual so it’s great for children (age 5+) who can’t speak Castellano or Catalan. The projects entail building a Lego form, connecting it to their computer, and telling that computer how to move them (a simple, visual program). He was able to do the projects (such as building Lego crocodiles that chomp, or a goalkeeper who blocks) with no problems. They use the Lego WeDo curriculum which you can find out more online.
