Teneo International School

A British Curriculum Online School for Expat Families

Teneo International School is an online British school for students aged 11 to 19, delivering Pearson Edexcel International GCSEs and A Levels through live-taught lessons, with every class recorded for catch-up across time zones. For expat families in Spain, France, Germany, Italy and beyond, it provides one continuous British curriculum that travels with your child, with no re-enrolment and no curriculum disruption at each move.

Qualified, subject-specialist teachers teach lessons live in small classes, giving students the structure of a real school day wherever the family is based. Every lesson is recorded through Teneo’s proprietary Smart School System — the single platform where students access their timetable, live lessons, learning materials, homework and recordings — so time-zone differences, travel days and the realities of expat life never mean a missed education. Students catch up on their own schedule without falling behind.

An independent actuarial analysis of all Teneo learners across 2023–2025 confirmed measurable academic improvement across the full cohort, at all ability levels, without selective admissions, a stronger proof point than headline grades from a pre-selected intake. Teneo operates an open, all-abilities admissions policy, welcoming learners who need structure, support and recognised qualifications rather than selecting only those who already have them.

Pearson Edexcel International GCSEs and A Levels are recognised by UCAS and accepted by universities worldwide, including all UK Russell Group, US Ivy League and Australian Group of Eight institutions. Students sit exams at approved Pearson centres in their country of residence, under the same conditions as candidates worldwide.

For families weighing the cost of a European international school against keeping the British curriculum online, Teneo offers a genuine alternative, live teaching, recognised qualifications and real school support, at a fraction of the fees.
