Thames British School in Madrid teaches the English national curriculum to pupils from pre-nursery to sixth form (1-18 years).
The Thames British School in Madrid offers an English style education from Pre-Nursery, all the way through to the Cambridge International AS/A Levels, courses and careers programmes in Years 12 and 13. The school also teaches children ages 14-16 to obtain iGCSE qualifications from the University of Cambridge’s international education department.
The school is officially a member of NABSS, the prestigious National Association of British Schools in Spain. The school is also accredited by the Spanish Ministry of Education to provide obligatory Lengua y Cultura Española classes from Primary to Year 11.
Not all students at the school speak native English, and so the school closely monitors pupils’ language skills throughout their school life.
