The British School of Milan (BSM) is a co-educational day school established in 1969.

From early years, through Primary and Senior school up to the end of Key Stage 4, students follow the English national curriculum. This culminates in with the iGCSE qualifications.

In Years 12 and 13 (the Sixth Form), students pursue the International Baccalaureate(IB) Diploma Program.

The British School of Milan is a not-for-profit school, and its only focus is education. The school has over 700 pupils from more than 40 nationalities and a teaching body nearing 100 teachers.

Fees

Admissions

The British School of Milan is a non-selective school, though the school has a four-step admissions procedure:

  • Interview with relevant head of department
  • Reports and references from previous school
  • Assessments in English and Mathematics
  • Availability of places in relevant school years.

Children with special needs and learning difficulties will be assessed carefully to determine whether the School is able to effectively address their individual needs.

Location

The school is based in the Labrate district of Milan, and is a 25-minute drive eastwards from Milan city centre.
