Online high school that builds entrepreneurs
Many families come to homeschooling — or start considering it — because they are looking for something more. More freedom. More meaningful learning. More room for their teenager to become themselves. More time to follow curiosity, build confidence, and learn in a way that feels connected to real life. Because a 9 to 5 school day happens in school only. Homeschooling allows a daily contact with life outside school.
The teenage years bring challenges. Freedom is important, but freedom alone is not enough. Teenagers also need purpose. They need structure. They need accountability. They need meaningful friendships. They need adults outside the family who know them, challenge them, and support them as they grow into young adults. For generations, families were not expected to raise teenagers alone. There was a wider circle around them. A tribe. Other adults, mentors, relatives, neighbours, friends, and community members who played a role in a young person’s growth.
Today, many parents are doing it all alone. And traditional systems do not necessarily replace the tribe, because the tribe means proximity, care, presence, trust, and adults who truly see the young person in front of them.
This school exists because I could not find what I was looking for.
I watched my own son move through adolescence and realised that what he needed most was not more information. He needed a reason to care. He needed meaningful relationships. He needed adults who truly knew him. He needed opportunities to challenge himself, discover his strengths, and build confidence through real experiences. And I knew he wasn’t the only one.
For more than twenty-five years, I have worked in two worlds. The first was business — international companies, businesses of my own, IBM, Citigroup. The second was human development — life coaching, NVC, conscious parenting. I could not find a school that brought both together for teenagers. So I built it.

TSYE was built to be that circle — online, and across borders
It is a full-time online alternative school for teenagers aged 15–18. Mornings are for independent study — students prepare the material they will bring into the room. Every afternoon, they meet live with their small peer group and a facilitator to work together, go deeper, and apply what they explored alone.
The curriculum is built around five pillars: self-knowledge, entrepreneurship, AI and critical thinking, systems and life design, and knowledge of the world. These are not academic subjects. They are the foundations of a capable, self-directed adult — someone who understands themselves, can navigate uncertainty, create value, and make good decisions in a world that is changing faster than any classroom can keep up with. Students acquire the same core skills as traditional education — reading, writing, mathematics, critical thinking, communication — but always through something real, something actionable, something connected to life outside the classroom.
Every week, each student also meets individually with their facilitator and their life coach — adults who know their strengths, their struggles, and who they are becoming. Students graduate with a recognised high school diploma pathway and something harder to measure: self-knowledge, initiative, resilience, and the kind of relationships that shape who they become.
