At the Village Hub, traditional grades and exams are replaced with authentic assessments that empower learners to take charge of their progress. Several times a year, learners showcase their growth, share goals and receive feedback from their learning guides and parents.
Each cycle, parents receive feedback in learner-led conferences called 360s. These are designed to encourage self-reflection and provide insights into progress and skill development. Each cycle culminates in a showcase where learners present their projects and celebrate their achievements with the community.
In addition, parents have biannual meetings and Learnlife uses the innovative Learning Vitae, a dynamic tool akin to a curriculum vitae. It offers a comprehensive view of a learner’s current skills, showcases evidence of their growth, and evolves alongside them.
