The Franco American Institute offers lots of activities for parents and children including shows, reading groups, conferences and special events such as their yearly Halloween party. They have several family clubs including Moms Club for moms and their young children (aged 0-3)
Wednesday 11h to 12h, Story Club reading of interactive tales for all levels (monthly: Saturday 16h30 to 17h30) and Boardgame Club in English for children 8 and over (monthly: Saturday 16h30 to 18h). The library has an expanding youth section and offers clubs and activities aimed towards teenagers. They also organise a kids’ movie afternoon twice a year, around Christmas and during spring break. The movies are in English, with French subtitles, for children ages 3-12.

First time in Rennes, so this was a nice discovery and resource. Friendly employees, fun times for kids playing board games together on a Saturday afternoon. (Tanya)
