Toy Box Little School of English

Toy Box was founded in 1994 by an English mother, driven by her need to offer her children an English-speaking environment, pioneering Granada’s first English nursery school. Since then, many children have benefited from the experience and Toy Box Little School of English is today the answer to many parents’ demands for an international pre-school education in Granada. The school programme is based on the Montessori methodology. Toy Box is found just 10 minutes from Granada, located in a tranquil residential area next to the well known restaurant ”El Cateto” in Monachil. The building was once a house and is set in a private plot of around 800 square meters. Half of the space is taken up with a big lawn, trees, vegetable garden and swings. The other half contains the school building and patio. There are lots of trees, some with hanging branches that create a magical space for young children to play. There is a hen house with hens and a rabbit. In case of children with special needs, Toy Box  has an external support team.
