The Hamburg Startups website is an initiative by two female entrepreneurs who sought to create a platform offering centralised information and promoting Hamburg’s startup scene worldwide. Digital Media Women Meet-ups is a German-speaking networking and meet up group for women and men to promote women in digital fields from web and graphic design to online journalism, social media, and programming. Combining digital topics with diversity, members meet every other week to discuss professional projects, technical expertise and network. They send out a useful newsletter each fortnight with up to date information on events and local information.

 

Mompreneurs is a community for self-employed mothers, freelancers and digital nomads in the city and surrounding areas. They organise fascinating talks on a range of topics related to starting and running your own business, as well as the opportunity to exchange ideas, advice and socialise with other local and expat mumpreneurs in Hamburg.

 

Colibri Coworking is a space for entrepreneurs offering babysitting services along with various creative activities to keep little ones occupied nearby while parents work. The betahaus Hamburg is one of the most well known coworking spaces in the city, located in the Altona neighbourhood. Distinctly smaller than its Berlin-based counterpart, this ensures that everyone gets to know on another in a friendly, intimate atmosphere. They offer flexible coworking, activities and plenty of networking opportunities in Hamburg.
