Disneyland Paris, supposedly the biggest tourist attraction in Europe, attracts around 15 million visitors a year with its 5 magical lands, endless attractions, Disney characters, family parades and shows. Disneyland promises a fun day out for all the family. It is located in Marne-la-Vallée, a new town located 32 km east of the centre of Paris

Avoid weekends! (Isabelle Guyon)
We went in the peak of the summer holidays, so the park was jammed full. We didn’t buy our tickets in advance so had a really long wait – big mistake as you can buy them online and therefore can miss all the queues on the day. Our friends who live in Paris say if you go out of school holidays you really do get your money worth as there is little queuing and superior service. We bought a Park Hopper pass, which meant we could go between Disneyland and Walt Disney Studios park rather than just having to stay at the one park. The restaurants inside are very expensive so if possible I would certainly recommend taking a packed lunch. My kids loved every single minute of their experience so I can wholly recommend it. (KA)
